Negotiating anything that involves money is the process of trying to arrive at an agreement between two parties. It could be buying or selling a house, or dealing with a claim to your insurance company.  But for many of us, negotiating can be daunting. Why do we find it so hard?

Talking about money is still a taboo, especially in the workplace - our most recent research found that 81% of employees don’t feel comfortable talking about money at work.* This is for a number of reasons - it can be a source of pain, some may find it overwhelming or even embarrassing.
